Responsible for providing direction to Local Sales Managers and sales teams covering the Charter/Spectrum territories in Michigan. This includes the Traverse City DMA, Grand Rapids DMA and Flint DMA. Ensuring sales budgets are attained and objectives achieved. Major ResponsibilitiesEstablish advertising sales objectives and procedures consistent with the overall company policies.Strategically plan for optimal use of resources and inventory in order to meet goals.Read and approve all advertising sales reports.Manage advertising inventory in conjunction with local sales managers.Oversee the assignment of budgets and account list of local sales managers and sales.Continually train and coach local sales managers, sales and support staff.Administer sales staff salaries, expenses; establish budgets and monitor rate structure.Oversee forecast and activity for attainment levels of goals.Support all efforts to enhance our clients experience; developing relationships and rapport in the field.

Provide supervision and coaching to a team of sales executives and sales support to ensure individuals achieve assigned sales objectives and budgets. Major Responsibilities:Monitor and coach sales representatives in all areas of daily assignments.Set and coach to activity expectations.Recruit, train, motivate, and develop a team of sales representatives into a cohesive unit to increase productivity and exceed sales goals.Set and ensure sales associates have a clear path.Ensure team has a clear understanding of marketplace including demographics, profiles, competitive media, strategies and territorial growth potential.Conduct performance reviews and review disciplinary action when necessary.Assist General Sales Manager in development of budgets and goal attainment.Support all efforts to enhance the client experience, engaging with clients and developing rapport.
