- Participated in a study about environmental change detection in remote sensing in contract with the U.S. National Parks to match long-term park monitoring goals and to estimate forest disturbance.- Traveled extensively through multiple national parks and Oregon state forests/parks.- Tasks included, but not limited to: calculating percent cover for trees, shrubs, grasses and soils as well as basal covers of trees.
