Years of experience teaching adult ESL learners. While receiving my BA, I worked as a writing consultant on campus, and assisted college students with coursework as well as job applications, resumes, and grant proposals. I recently returned stateside after a year in China, where I worked as an English literature and writing instructor to middle school students. I also served as a private tutor and speech coach to high school students preparing to take the IELTS and SAT exams for study abroad. My training in language and linguistics lends to the experience I have in other administrative and communication-related fields, as well. This year I graduated from Arizona State University with a master's in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages).
