I am a seasoned lawyer and legal services transformation consultant, with deep experience at the intersection of business, law, technology and compliance. I consult with law firms and corporate law departments on the implementation of legal process innovation, enabling technologies and alternative resourcing. I support clients in mitigating risk and driving operational efficiencies across multiple legal practice and functional areas, including: discovery, contracts management, e-billing, legal spend management and compliance. Before diving in to the world of legal innovation, I was an antitrust and commercial litigator at DLA Piper US L.L.P. and King & Spalding. I am active in the antitrust bar, currently serving as Vice Chair of the ABA Section of Antitrust Law Content Committee. I also served on the Executive Committee of the California Bar Association’s Antitrust and Trade Regulation Section, during which I was Managing Editor of the Section’s treatise on California Antitrust and Unfair Competition Law, as well as a Council Member of the Antitrust and Business Litigation Section of the State Bar of Texas. I serve on the Board of the Kif Brown Foundation, a charitable organization devoted to bettering the lives of cancer patients and their families by sharing knowledge and resources gained through Kif’s journey and continuing research.
