I have many interests in the fields of Zoology and Forensic Science, including ecology, conservation work, ethology, entomology, and forensic botany. My master's project involves working outside, in all weather conditions, capturing insects for identification and quantification purposes, to see which would attract to a cadaver. Whilst this is interesting, working in a field related to zoology, conservation and ecology is something I am very passionate about, and this is where I see myself working. Over summer 2024 I am joining Operation Wallacea, where I will be undertaking research to help with the biodiversity of forests and marine life at terrestrial and marine sites, learning different surveying techniques, attending multiple lectures, and learning how to dive. I want to use my knowledge of conservation and ecology to help protect animals and the environment.My forensic science degree has given me transferable skills that I can take into the field of zoology, for example, analytical skills, communication skills, critical thinking, observation skills and problem-solving.If you would like to know more about me, don’t hesitate to send me a message 😊.
