I have worked with all ages and abilities of youth. I particularly working with a few specific populations: at-risk youth who have experienced significant trauma, youth with significant disabilities, and families of both. I excel at building relationships with youth who often need patience and understanding; I also have shown trustworthiness to parents as I also am able to develop positive relationships with parents and families. I have worked with many students with autism who use alternative communication systems as well as students with physical and emotional disabilities. My colleagues often say that I am patient, dedicated, and compassionate toward the population I enjoy working with.
