Profile bio

About Danielle Hopper

I'm Danielle Hopper, a recent graduate of Miami University receiving my Master of Arts in Biology through Project Dragonfly. Through the program I was able to harness my passion for conservation and wildlife as a conservation advocate, engaging communities all around the globe promoting community involvement in conservation action. Since a young age, I have had an interest in animals, from participating in the 4-H and FFA programs, to volunteering at the local zoo. Currently I work for the Walt Disney Company as a zookeeper at Disney’s Animal Kingdom taking care of African wildlife species, and participate in various conservation opportunities including pollinator surveys and sea turtle health assessment surveys. In my spare time I enjoy being an amateur wildlife photographer and exploring different cultures around the world. I hope that by sharing my photographs it can inspire others to care about wildlife and wild places.

Listed skills include Animal Husbandry, Interpretation, Public Speaking, Education, and 15 others.
