An experienced teacher and department head with a career beginning in 2008, I taught in private schools until 2013 and was privileged to coauthor curriculum which would qualify for accreditation. I now teach a trade with the Connecticut Technical High School System. I have participated in the creation of reports through structured analysis, self-assessment, and planning in response to the Standards of Accreditation to submit to the New England Association of Schools and Colleges. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Child Studies, and I am certified to teach trade as well as to operate as a Department Head. I am a trained novice teacher Mentor and Reviewer for TEAM, have played an active role in Marzano Leadership Committees, assist in tutoring at risk students, and volunteer to raise money and coordinate cutting services for St. Baldricks which is a company that supports the research of childhood cancer. I am skilled in Educational Technology, Microsoft Office, Google Apps for Education, Cengage Mindtap Education. I am currently working on my Master's degree in Education. My career goals include qualifying for leadership and administrative positions in the future.I still enjoy co-ownership of Ambiance Glam Squad, an on location bridal and event hair and makeup company.
