Prior to my current role, I worked with the Department of Juvenile Services providing forensic assessments, counseling, and crisis intervention to youth and their families. I have a Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work from the Catholic University of America. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-C) and a Certified Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapist (TF—CBT). For over 10 years, I have provided mental health assessments, crisis intervention, and counseling for youth, families, adults, and military veterans. I have also facilitated therapeutic groups and training for military veterans, LGBTQ youth, and police officers. I utilize a collaborative strength-based and trauma-informed approach that includes various interventions aimed towards helping individuals navigate challenges in life.
