About Danielle Kappel

Libraries are my passion. I have worked in academic, law, public, and school libraries. I was also a cataloger for a time. I enjoyed USM's London study abroad program where I got to visit several special libraries within the UK. I am currently working at the North Dakota State Library as the Library Division Director which gives me a chance to work with all types of libraries around the State of North Dakota. I also oversee tech services so I can put my limited cataloging experience to use. I love directing and motivating people to be as successful within their positions as they can be. I love being able to work with all types of people and libraries and (hopefully) get others to increase their passion for literacy and their understanding of libraries.
