Current• Research federal, state, and local environmental rules and regulations related to impacts to wetlands, floodplains, endangered species, and ground disturbance.• Identify permitting requirements for project specific sites, including unique local permitting regulations.• Write and submit necessary materials to government agencies to obtain permits and maintain compliance. • Draft technical documents for clients such as threatened and endangered species reports/consultations, biological assessments, SWPPPs, and petrofund applications using desktop reviews and databases.• Working knowledge of key regulations, including National Environment Policy Act, Section 404 of the Clean Water Act, Section 10 of the Rivers and Harbors Act, Section 7 of the Endangered Species Act, and Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act.• Develop permitting recommendations for clients using RAP tables using multiple review methods.• Write and submit necessary materials to government agencies to obtain permits and maintain compliance.• Write and provide training materials as the company-wide health and safety manager. • Accounting work including preparing draft invoices, editing and submitting invoices, and entering accounts payable invoices.
