Rural Health Systems Quality Program Manager
CurrentAssist rural hospitals and other health care providers with improving the quality of care provided to their rural residents by participating in quality data reporting mandated by local, state, and national organizations. In addition, promote the analysis and use of data to design, implement, and evaluate innovative quality improvement projects. Manage the Medicare Beneficiary Quality Improvement Program and the Medicare Rural Hospital Flexibility Grant. Research and compose multimillion dollar federal grant applications with successful awarding. Manage federal grant deliverables, several budgets, 30+ annual contracts and vendors, and data requirements. Assist hospitals with the development and execution of population health and health equity improvement initiatives. Provide assistance with the implementation of evidence-based practices to contribute to meeting the Triple Aim (better care, better health, lower costs) in rural communities and reduce rural health disparities. Performs legislative analysis as required for the agency. Develops and maintains partnerships with 20+ organizations and government agencies to perform work with greatest success and efficient use of resources. Presents work annually at national meetings and events.
