I am currently working as a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) at Mindfully Alive in Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ. In May of 2023, I received my Ed.M. and M.A. from Teachers College, Columbia University in Psychological Counseling: Mental Health Counseling. I primarily work with young adults/adolescents and specifically focus on experiences with trauma, anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), LGBTQIA+ specific issues, relationship concerns, and life transitions including grief. Throughout my graduate studies, I completed a supervised internship at William Paterson University's Counseling, Health, and Wellness Center. I worked as a graduate clinical intern and maintained a diverse caseload of undergraduate and graduate students who attended William Paterson University. During my undergraduate studies at the University of Georgia, I worked as a full-time direct services intern at Project Safe in Athens, Georgia. Project Safe is a non-profit organization working to end domestic violence. I completed this internship along with independent research during my final year of undergraduate studies, where I graduated summa cum laude in 2021 with a double major in Psychology and Criminal Justice and a minor in Sociology.
