Hi 👋🤓 About meFull stack product marketer with experience in content marketing, strategic partnerships, go-to-market strategy, and more. Proud generalist. 🤝 What do selling chocolate and developing B2B sales processes have in common? Growing up in Banff, Alberta, one of the most prominent tourist destinations in the world, shaped my approach to business, as well as my outlook on life. When I was little, my parents owned a candy store. I joke that my first sales experience was as a five-year-old selling imported chocolate for parents to bring home to their kids—I was able to thrive because of my deep understanding of and empathy for the customer (and knowledge of kid's candy preferences!). By the age of 20, I had over 10 years of customer-facing experience. While I no longer work in Travel and Tourism or sell candy, I've maintained the same outlook—the customer needs to be at the core of every email sent, every feature developed, and every go-to-market decision made.3️⃣ Three things I've been told about working with me1. "You're a Jill of all trades" I'm at my happiest when I've got hard problems to solve that touch many areas of the business. I will never be the best copywriter, SEO strategist, or designer, but I know enough to connect the dots and approach problems holistically. 2. "You sweat the details" and "You're a builder"I love to dive into an area and figure out the nitty gritty—the more uncharted the better. My favourite stage is 0-1. In contrast, I get itchy when working on fine-tuning and finessing well-established areas.3. "You're a connector" Nothing brings me more joy than helping identify collaboration opportunities between departments or teammates. I've got a lot of ideas (not all of which are good) and I love working strategizing and brainstorming cross-functionally.
