Welcome everyone! I thank you for taking the time to look at my page. Many of you I know from Argosy University where I am in the process of obtaining my MA in Community Counseling. I am in my final two courses and I will begin interviews to work with children for my internship, January 2014. I am hoping to network and meet some wonderful connections for my future practice as a Counseling Student, and Professional. In additon, I obtained my BA in Psychology at American Military University in 2011. I spent 5 years traveling the world with my significant other at the time and enjoyed diverse cultures, and have been exposed to dynamic lifestyles I hope to remember in my practices with helping others and human services fields. My top interests and strenghts from my diverse background are the independence and strength I have acquired as a Marine Wife, spending 13 month deployments alone in deserted areas, certainly teaches you how to become at peace within and know thyself. Overcoming hurdles and challenges such as these as brought me to my interest in health, wellness, fitness, caregiver, and counseling today. Amoung others, I also enjoy photography, personal training, scrapbooking, and have interests in businesses as well as sales. I consider myself a jack of all trades with on thing that is my number one and that is counting my credits to I reach my MA in Counseling (30 down, 18 to go!).My passion for the outdoors and hollistic healing is what I integreate into my sessions as a trainer and I do have lots of experience with special populations both training and as a CNA; Parkinsons, Dementia, Quadraplegics, Spinal Cord injuries and more. I am similar to a physical therapist and once worked at Workout Anytime, with a full client base, and loved it! Seeking something part-time like this or like the above mentioned.I am also a Certified Nursing Assistant, and I do seek out PRN or Part-Time Positions. 7 plus years of experience.
