Provide counseling services to disabled Veterans that are homebound, seeking self-employment services to pursue a suitable vocational goal. Provide individual/group counseling sessions regarding resources of VA Benefits. Conducts comprehensive evaluations to determine the existence of a vocational impairment, the severity of disability, feasibility for achieving desired vocational goal. Compare and discuss education benefits and services with Veterans and Active Duty members. Analyze interviews, educational, medical records, consult with other professionals, and diagnostic evaluations, in order to assess clients' abilities, needs, and eligibility for services. Assist Veterans in exploring and identifying viable rehabilitation needs, goals, and objectives to successful complete desired program. Provides case management services including coordination of all rehabilitation services, employment services, documentation of progression according to guidelines. Provides comprehensive employment and post-employment services. Works closely with other VA departments, public, and private agencies to ensure the Veteran receive necessary services. Confer with Veteran's treatment team and/or VA departments to develop and implement client rehabilitation programs. Develop rehabilitation plans that correlated to the Veteran's aptitudes, education levels, physical abilities, and career goals. Direct case service allocations of funds. Evaluate and approve and job placements, resolve problems and evaluate placement adequacy. Provide guidance according to the American Disability Act / guidelines to personal regarding appropriate training to assist Veterans in maintaining employment. Assist in overseeing federal contracts that were assigned to local business to assist in employing Veterans. Evaluate and approve estimate budgets associated with purchase cards, quarterly/yearly budgets and supplies. Supervise Veterans that participated in the Federal Work Study Program.

Provide in home counseling to clients that have behavior and mental issues being referred from Department of Juvenile Justice, Department of Family and Children services and other state agencies.Work with clients on learning different techniques to control their anger, being in compliance of their medication, furthering their education, and preparing for their future (ranging from vocational training to receiving an higher level of education)

Interpret psychological evaluations, disability certifications, and medical evaluations to determine if client/trainee meets the functional limitations requirements for training program. Give and prepare presentations for staff and trainees to broaden their awareness of different disabilities and the policy and procedures of the company.
