Xerox have a $300m marketing and print management contract with Morrisons plc. Any printed item required by Morrisons is procured by us. My role is to manage the contract from a Financial and Commercial aspect. My key responsibilities include; P&L Management, Client MI and SLA Reporting, Forecasting, Contract Modifications, the management of 3 offshore people who are responsible for Invoicing, Credit Control, Purchase Orders, Supplier Payment Queries and month end validations. Other areas of expertise include Problem Solving, I have demonstrated the ability to navigate complex, unchartered issues and have the skills required to make logical and well-reasoned decisions. I have also been involved in several supplier contract negotiations as well as high value complex client negotiations as part of a new 5 year deal with Morrisons in 2015. This also tested my ability to scope and model a new $300m business case, this involved visualizing and translating operational problems / concepts into financial risk and returns, I also needed to challenge business assumptions and highlight risk or opportunity. The key focus however for this role is to maximize Revenue and Profit, so proactively looking for opportunities to improve revenue and save costs is always at the forefront of my mind.
