Received funding from Health Canada, set to begin this year.• Knowledge Translation: Developed multiple infographics aimed at inspiring action from decision makers on identified problem areas based on findings of the McCreary student survey- a extensive survey completed by all Grade 9-12 aged students in British Columbia. Use infographics as a tool to stimulate conversation/brain storming at various community meetings around Vancouver Island.• Stakeholder and Community Engagement Was given the opportunity to chair multiple meetings, most notably the “Healthy Schools Healthy People” table- a group composed of over 50 individuals representing government agencies, community partner organization, and other stakeholders• Research and Data Analysis: Completed a chart audit for quality at the Belmont Wellness Centre- an Island Health clinic embedded within a school in Victoria, BC. Audit focused on assessing access to mental health services for youth in Victoria, BC. Analyzed data and presented findings to stakeholders.• Communication, Report Writing and Presentations: Gained experience in various areas of knowledge mobilization
