Next Step is a faith based recovery home for men and women with drug and alcohol addictions. As an intern, I help teach a class, file paperwork, observe evaluations, assist and participate in meetings and build healthy relationships with the residents.

Once a week, I would go to Bethesda and volunteer by playing activities with the older adults here. I assisted the activities director and played games with the residents in a fun and enjoyable way.
