I've discovered that being in the business world and being a parent has a lot in common. I came to Parenthood ready! Let me give you some examples of what I mean:Excellent communication skills? check!great negotiation skills? check!Being able to mentor and Coach came very handy when it comes to little ones. you want to leave the house? you summon a meeting, set a time frame to get everyone onboard with the plans and theirs tasks. You create the best strategy for the day, month or year. you're setting goals and get everyone working towards achieving our objective together. Kids are back from school? you better have good data analysis skills order to understand how the day went. they've got homework? time management comes into play. you want your kids to do something? sales skills are a must! you want to present a new idea? you need to learn how to work the crowd and own the room thank God I was a Workshop facilitator.Always make sure you lead by example not with words, you teach flexibility, goal settings and determination by pitching different solutions to different circumstances that leads to the same outcome (or something close to it). you practice active listening, performing under pressure, and most importantly you make sure your customer success skills are on point when your child is happy, is engaging with you in a positive way and always looking forward to "renewal" . I don't know who I should thank more? My experience of working with clients for the last 15 years on different platforms? or the little princess that changed my life forever. All I know is I GOT THIS!
