To promote the offer of the ATA (Apprenticeship Training Agency) Bradford to businesses within the Bradford district and build on employer relationships to help expand their business and increase their bottom line. Assisting businesses to take on apprentices without the 'risk'. The ATA will employ the apprentice then host employers simply hire them from us for a small monthly admin fee. In return the ATA will look after all recruitment aspects including advertising vacancies, coordinate interviews, payroll etc. The ATA will pay the apprentice weekly and simply invoice the business on a monthly basis. The ATA will link the apprentice and the business with a suitable college/training provider to deliver the apprenticeship based on host employer choice.

My role is to develop our Apprenticeships contract through the Skills Funding Agency (SFA) and work with businesses on our European Regional Development Fund Contract (ERDF). I am part of a successful sales team actively engaging with businesses in the West Yorkshire District, encouraging them to take on Apprentices and offer them additional support such as recruitment. I am responsible for maximising the SFA contract and achieving the agreed profile of learner starts on a monthly basis. I take part in many marketing/promotional events and liaise with internal and external agencies as required. I provide an excellent advice and guidance service to our learners helping them make vital career decisions and learning pathway choices. I offer support with job searching, application processes and interview techniques.
