In my role as Data Engineer I, I was involved in all aspects of SDLC including requirement gathering, data modeling, development, unit, QA and UAT testing, deployment, documentation and production support. Other responsibilities included working with external clients to translate their specific needs into technical requirements for existing third party feeds. I was one of the two onshore leads for the offshore ETL development and production support teams. I performed all responsibilities under an Agile framework.

When we decided to bring in a new kind of data to the data warehouse, I was responsible for researching, meeting with and choosing the vendor for this data. I also directed the offshore ETL development and production teams and was responsible for hiring and onboarding new teams when a change in vendors was made.

In my role as Project Analyst, I was a key contributor in the creation and implementation of pilot programs and business processes and procedures, including billing system conversion initiatives, to increase efficiency and lower call center operation costs. My role started as a pilot program at the regional level and was later implemented company wide. I analyzed program results and managed special projects and personnel. I was responsible for building queries, designing reports and extracting data from the data warehouse as a business user to analyze various company key performance indicators, such as sales activity and administrative call center statistics, at a regional level. My team and I designed, developed and implemented the Intranet On Line Reference, which was the company’s first internal paperless reference system for customer service representatives in support of improving accuracy of information given to customers in 1999.
