The Regeneration team works on projects that aim to create a better future for the community and businesses in Halton. My role is to help deliver the Council’s regeneration projects outlined in the borough’s Core Strategy Key Areas of Change. The team works on the implementation of the Widnes Waterfront Masterplan and project management of Halton’s contaminated land projects.

My role was to encourage people to think differently about the way they travel to work and encourage them to travel in a healthier and more environmentally friendly way. I coordinated the activities delivered through funding from the Department for Transport including marketing, delivering cycle training and awarding grant funding for sustainable transport projects.

This role involved providing support to the Property Services Department, this included processing invoices, using GIS software, dealing with enquiries and maintenance requests from other departments within the Council and the public and keeping asset records up to date.
