About Danielle Lyons

As the Director of Scientific Operations at Ionpath, I lead a team of laboratory scientists, in collaboration with bioinformaticians, to provide imaging and bioinformatic services using the Multiplex Ion Beam Imaging (MIBI) platform. I have over four years of experience in managing complex and multidisciplinary scientific projects, involving multiple stakeholders, sites, and goals. My expertise in program management stems from my previous role as the Scientific Program Manager for the HOPE Martin Delaney Collaboratory for HIV Cure Research, a multimillion-dollar NIH funded HIV cure collaboratory, where I tracked and monitored progress towards milestones, goals, and deliverables, established collaboratory-wide budgets, and instituted effective methods of communication. I also have a strong scientific background in virology and genetics, with a Ph.D. from Yale University and several publications in peer-reviewed journals, focusing on the epigenetic regulation of cellular and viral genes in varying viral disease states. My mission is to foster an open and collaborative environment where members from different disciplines can share their unique expertise and deliver high-quality and innovative scientific services to customers.
