I am a sophomore majoring in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Miami. Along with this, I am a Presidential Scholar at the University of Miami. Outside of class, I serve as the Society of Women Engineers Treasurer, am a part of Engineering Student Ambassadors, and was recently appointed as an Engineering Student Council Events Chair.This past summer I interned in the Engineering Lab at Victaulic where I applied technical writing skills to construct work instructions for mechanical lab tests and implemented 5S/Lean principles to create safer, more optimal processes. Along with this, I developed technical skills and even helped to design a safety device in the lab!Going into my sophomore year at the University of Miami, I am ready to face the exciting challenge of diving into more engineering courses such as Dynamics, Mechanics of Materials, and Electrical Circuits. With this, I am looking for internships in mechanical engineering for Summer 2025 and am open to any position that is of interest.Lastly, my passion for engineering stems from my interest in theme park ride systems and audio animatronics, both of which I hope to pursue in my future career path. I look forward to connecting with fellow peers and mentors as I continue on this path!
