I am a Healthcare Informaticist that has worked in the healthcare industry for the last 17 years. This position allows me to showcase my talents by examining various information and discovering opportunities for improvement. I also use this information as a means to celebrate the success of others on my team. I believe that a leader must create a positive example for their team and engage in transformational leadership. I strive to invest in those around me and on my team, as this behavior is indicative not just of inner strength but is also a core value that I strive to exemplify in both my professional and personal life.I continue to learn and grow by investing in my education. I have accomplished this by completing my BS in Healthcare Business Management from WGU in 2021 and have continued on to pursue my MBA and plan to move forward with WGU to pursue my MSML. I continually strive to be a balanced leader and possess as many soft and hard skills that I can obtain. I have succeeded in these pursuits with the support of my husband, family and colleagues.I have a desire to make a difference for those around me, whether that is brightening someone's day with my positivity emails or rescuing one of my two puppies from a shelter. My goals are to obtain my MBA and MSML and to put those skills to work benefiting my workplace and my community.
