Basic grade Occupational Therapy post, rotating every six months to 1 year. Rotations completed in Learning Disability Health & Wellbeing team, hyper-acute stroke ward, community paediatric therapies team and community mental health for adults. Providing Occupational Therapy assessment and intervention to improve engagement in daily living whether this be through equipment provision, postural management, or skill building interventions, through both one-to-one and group work. Working with clients, their carers and the MDT.

Providing specialist smoking cessation support in one-to-one, group, drop-in and inpatient settings.Co-ordinating clinics throughout the borough of Tower Hamlets.Liaising with clients, carers, GPs, hospital staff, Trust staff, PCT and local authority stakeholders.Contributing to research activities and co-running of two clinical trials.Teaching and training in smoking cessation of healthcare professionals, psychology and medical students.Contributing to supervision sessions for smoking cessation specialists at annual updates of the SCTRP (Smoking Cessation Training and Research Programme).
