- Provide free, in-depth business counseling for existing and prospective business owners.- Provide business planning and loan packaging assistance.- Provide counseling on availability and appropriate use of a variety of loan options coordinating with lending institutions and other agencies such as banks, the SBA, Community Development Corporation, Planning and Development Districts, and etc.- Assist Clients with business plan development and minority certifications.- Plan, develop, and conduct training workshops for the general public for the promotion and outreach of the JSU SBDC and simultaneously the executive education and community outreach activities of the College of Business relating to entrepreneurship and small business development.- Utilize volunteer services of faculty and students to prospective and existing small business owners, subject to confidentiality principles and other appropriate regulations.- Participate and serve as guest lecturer and mentoring students in the College’s entrepreneurship and small business management curriculum as a part of the JSU SBDC’s efforts to promote and perform outreach to benefit JSU SBDC.- Participate in the activities of the JSU’s Innovation Corps (I-Corps) Site in assisting JSU faculty, researchers, and students in commercializing innovations and creative ideas pertaining to or closely related and beneficial to the JSU SBDC.- Provide assistance to minority-owned/operated small businesses to manage, grow, and improve their business ventures.- Attend community forums and events to increase the exposure of the Center and College and their services to the business and local community.- Perform similar or related duties to the promotion and benefit to the JSU SBDC as assigned by the Director of the JSU Small Business Development Center and the Dean of the College of Business.

- Create campaign vision, goals, and strategy to advocate and inform the general public as well as students on bullying and how to prevent it in all forms.- Coordinate and plan events at various schools and summer programs to advocate anti bullying message.- Effectively utilize and create a plethora of marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, websites, and social media to inform sponsors as well as the general public on campaign agenda.- Make cold calls to potential sponsors and p to obtain donations and/or network to present campaign. - Give motivational and informative speeches to children and young adults on bullying and ways to prevent it.- Build relationships with sponsors, program directors, and local organizations in order to continue campaign and promote message throughout the region.

- Provide business development solutions for entrepreneurs and small business owners via business plan writing, market research, integrated marketing communications plans, image and brand consultation, public relations, social media management, graphic design and event planning.- Create and implement high impact yet cost-effective integrated marketing communication programs, comprehensive promotions and sponsorship opportunities.- Expert relating to the development and establishment of effective advertising plans, comprehensive publicity, promotions, and sponsorships. - Extensive background in community relations, public relations, and multi-million dollar campaigns.
