I build and maintain positive working relationships with both DIY and trade account customers ensuring that any queries regarding products and availability are responded to in a timely and transparent manner. Building on product knowledge i ensure that the customer is aware of the products and brands that we stock as well as alternatives that are also available. I collaborate with external companies regarding sourcing non stocked products and advice on current lead times so i can give up to date and complete information to my customers. I also look for upcoming projects in the local areas to help generate leads on potential customers.

serving both DIY and trade customers by helping them select the correct product, advise on alternate products and ensuring that they are served in a timely and helpful manner so they leave feeling positive about the service that they received. Helping to maintain stock levels, and ensuring that the shop is kept clean, tidy and inviting to all customers and visitors.

supporting adults with learning disabilities to live independently within supported living accommodation with all aspects of their day to day lives including meal preparation, personal care, medication administration, shopping, budgeting, attending health appointments, and planning for the future to days out and holidays. The role also included ensuring shifts were covered, time sheets were completed and sent to payroll on time, interviewing applicants and submitting the relevant paperwork to HR, support plans and risk assessments were updated within the required time frame. I was also responsible alongside the other senior support workers and the project manager to ensure that staff supervisions, appraisals and the training matrix were completed every 6 weeks.
