Substance Abuse Coordinator
Current• Develops reports and statistical information for Occupational Health clients in accordance with current Federal Regulations.• Maintains current knowledge of Federal Regulations involving substance abuse testing and collection procedures.• Manages Federal and Non-Federal controlled substance random programs.• Coordinates collections with outside clinics to ensure expeditious reporting.• Collaborates with reference lab to ensure timely and accurate reporting of results.• Responsible for training and certifying St. Luke's Hospital Network employees with regard to drug testing collection and breath-alcohol testing procedures in a manner consistent with the DOT collector qualification requirements.• Plans and participates in educational seminars that assist client companies in compliance with workplace training requirements.• Assists the Occupational Health Department's Medical Review Officers with their duties of medically reviewing and processing of substance abuse test results.• Participates in negotiation and coordination of substance abuse testing contracts with employers.• Creates and modifies Occupational Health client company profiles in current software system.
