I coordinate various longitudinal and cross-sectional studies involving MRI, PET imaging, and neuropsychological testing. These studies focus on changes in amyloid plaques and neurofibrillary tangles in adults with and without cognitive impairment. I lead in recruitment, scheduling, and enrollment of these participants and also run study visits where I administer various cognitive tests to adults aged 21-100 that vary in cognitive impairment. In addition to study coordinating, I manage the online hiring portal, supervise student interns, and create training plans for new coordinators. As a data analyst, I align, process, and troubleshoot PET data using MATLAB. I also help with organizing and updating several study-related databases. Additionally, I'm trained in multivariate data analysis using R that has allowed me to explore independent research projects and have had the opportunity to present my findings at the Human Amyloid Imaging Conference in January 2019 and 2020.

I serve as the first point of contact for students that desire to go abroad by advising prospective students about the opportunities IPO provides, advising them on navigating international platforms and academic systems, and empowering them through their application processes. Our main goal is raising the number of students who study abroad and increased the number by roughly 4% from last spring. Additionally, I have to adapt to new environments and to work with students who possess a wide range of learning styles while still adhering to university policies. My personal knowledge in my areas of expertise were also expanded to apply to other education abroad experiences and opportunities. I also lead and facilitate weekly informational workshops and outreach events for students about study abroad opportunities that sometimes go beyond scheduled IPO hours. Through these events, I collaborate with other peer advisers and ten full time advisers to work on workshop revisions, troubleshooting, outreach events, and other special projects. In addition to outreach and general advising, I complete office duties such as outlook, scheduling, scanning confidential materials for students, filing important documents, and answering the phone.

I interacted with all the children and parents who attended the early intervention playgroups. The groups are designed for children under 3 who have a range of developmental delays or impairments. I worked on activities with the children to help them work on improving these developmental weaknesses. I assisted the specialists in the group, working off their feedback, and as a group we collaborated and discussed the weekly progress of each child to review techniques that could help the kids continue to improve. Additionally I helped with playgroup and activity set up. I also observed an evaluation of a child eligible for early intervention services.
