CurrentAt Office of Service Nova Scotia I train clients on how to send file creations. I Provide customer service to our clients by retrieving files and maintain security on restricted files. I prepare boxes at our head office and satellite offices for storage at off site storage facilities. I have created and maintained a database. I have helped to inventory boxes from other divisions and update the database with this information. I prepare boxes for on-site destruction by completing the Records Disposition Authorization (RDA) forms. I have trained a student from NSCC on our daily procedures while she was here for her placement I keep statistics up-to-date using an excel spreadsheet. I have moved files from different locations in an orderly manner. I have written standard operating procedures for Service Nova Scotia Central Registry clerks. I have trained my co-worker on different functions of Microsoft Word. I prepared our Central Registry for a split/ move by preparing lists from the database to identify files for the other department. I developed a process for packing all files and tracking which box and location the files were moved to. I provided client services while moving/ splitting the central registry. I prepared the new central registry and unpacked all files in an orderly and timely fashion.

I have created spreadsheets using Excel. I generated box listing reports using the database. I provided support for various departments when questions arose regarding requests and storage. I maintained a high level of security. I maintained a proper amount of supplies including printer cartridges for the Records Center. I have written standard operating procedures I offered help to my coworkers in the area of Microsoft programs including Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
