I work part-time as a homeschool teacher and carer for a twenty-year-old girl with an intellectual disability and Autism. I thoroughly enjoy working with this young lady, and feel very privileged to have witnessed her admirable improvements across her studies, communication skills, social skills and physical fitness over the past 12 months. She is a delight to teach.

Oversee the artistic direction and production of two issues of Trove per year. This includes producing the magazine within budget, briefing the designer and liaising with the printer, and undertaking editing tasks. Implement a yearly plan for Trove, including a biannual production cycle and issue themes Solicit new writing and artwork, and actively seek new sources of submissions Assess publication risks, reporting them to the head of The Cultural Precinct as necessary Adhere to, and contribute to the ongoing development of Trove’s editorial policies Co-ordinate an Editorial Committee of 6 student editors to undertake production tasks relating to Trove, including selecting content, editing and providing creative support Manage other Trove proofreaders and volunteers as required Provide input into Trove marketing and publicity, including overseeing Trove online content Manage Trove funding proposals and acquittals, to be signed off by The Cultural Precinct Work with The Cultural Precinct to develop and deliver Trove events, including launches Managing Trove advertising and partnerships Other tasks and duties as directed by the Cultural Precinct (e.g. running of Poets' Corner, a digital poetry initiative) Liase with Perth cinemas, concert venues, art galleries and theaters to arrange Trove reviewers to obtain a media pass and write reviews for the publication
