The research component of my thesis is tentatively entitled 'Twenty-First Century Fairy Tales - Transnational and Transcultural Trajectories.' The creative component is a novel called 'Awakening' - a dystopian fairy tale. I received first class honours in English and Cultural Studies (creative writing) from The University of Western Australia in 2015, and my collection of experimental short fiction entitled 'Jetlag' won the Katherine Moss Prize (awarded annually to the best dissertation on a subject connected with English literature).
