As a highschool volleyball coach it is my role to inspire, motivate, and educate student athletes to learn and understand the rules of volleyball, inspire them to be 1% better each day, believe in themselves and challenge themselves, and to serve as an example. When we win, we win as a team and when we lose, we lose as a team. Each day presents new opportunities and challenges but with a personal belief that if I'm better my team is better - we can accomplish great things. Team motto - "With each other, for each other. Ego-free, it's not about me." My passion for competitive team sports and living a healthy and active lifestyle made me want to coach. For the first time in 28 years, our high school volleyball team went to a state tournament and placed third. This moment will forever live in my head as one of my favorite memories and experiences. Hard work, adversity, being and underdog but inspiring others to think big, contributed to the belief that we can do hard things.

Responsible for full cycle recruiting and onboarding to satisfy company growth. Recruiting across multiple departments for salary and hourly roles in an underground mine, smelter, base metals refinery, analytical lab, concentrator and mill. Partnered with executive and corporate leadership to find talent for finance, accounting, support services ie: human resources, procurement, executive professionals. Utilized external recruiting firms to source talent across the US and internationally.

Served as the recruiting coordinator for a team of recruiters in a time of hiring nearly five hundred new employees from 2018 to 2020 to support a mine expansion. This included all onboarding activities and pre-employment activities, outreach, an internship program, and support in a retention program at three site locations.

Served on a team with three other team members in our patient financial services office to file electronic claims, serve the public in billing issues and questions, and process financial assistance applications. Reconciled over one million dollars of revenue per month. Processed Medicare, Medicaid and commercial insurance payments. Successfully converted our office from an antiquated DOS based accounting program to Cerner in October of 2017. Served as a foundation board member all four years and assisted a team of five other employees in planning the annual foundation benefit fundraiser.

Worked with a team of doctors, nurses, anesthesiologists and surgical tech's to plan and execute elective and non-emergent surgical procedures at a surgery center. Surgical procedures included orthopedic, general, OB/GYN, ear/nose/throat, ophthalmology, and IVF (in-vitro fertilization). Cleaned, disinfected, and sterilized surgical equipment in line with planned surgical procedures. Prepared pick sheets and stocked supplies and inventory to ensure cases were carried out safely and on time. Patient care, aseptic technique, and steam sterilization standards being the core safety principles to achieve quality of life outcomes for patients. Worked closely with orthopedic reps (Stryker, Synthes, Olympus) to inspect surgical equipment and prepare them for surgical procedures.
