I went to SUNY Brockport college. Through my 4 years of undergrad, I played lacrosse competitively while working as a Patient Care Tech. While in the nursing program I was an active member of the Student Nursing Board and Student Athlete Committee. I have volunteered for 'Before you Lay me Down to Sleep', Special Olympics and other programs. I graduated 2014 with my BSN. I worked for 2 years on the CCU and Cath Lab at Strong Memorial Hospital before I started travel nursing. 8 years as an RN, 6 years of those as Travel RN, I have worked at 15 different hospitals throughout the US. Although my primary experience is cardiac step down, including cath lab/EP procedures, pre and post op CT surgeries, VADs. I have worked in the Emergency Department and Transitional Care Unit- stabilize and admit patients; along with other specialty units. As well as in an outpatient office, where I ran and re-organized their vaccine clinic. Along with triage and patient wellness/follow-up visits. All of my experiences has granted me exposure to a great number of people, as well as opportunities with many different organizations. This has allowed me to expand my knowledge on evidence based studies, team work, communication, effectiveness, both outside and within the healthcare systems and operations. This makes me very adaptable and quick learner in new environments. As well as a great source of experience for trouble shooting and growth with new work opportunities.
