-Optimally allocate both renewable and conventional energy sources within a hybrid Unmanned Aerial Vehicle using various optimization methods, e.g., heuristic, stochastic. - Develop and enhance algorithms to quickly solve complex optimization problems for energy mix allocation while ensuring high fidelity results - Organize and lead project management efforts for multiple Masters and Ph.D. students within the group - Utilizing optimization frameworks, e.g., network optimization, to determine the optimal locations for ultra-fast electric vehicle charging systems within distribution systems- Present research results within published technical papers for the larger engineering field and through internal reports for the project advisor and sponsor - Create a Master's Thesis of research results, accomplishments, and significance at the end of the degree path

- Tutor student athletes in various courses, including writing, mathematics, statistics, physics, and introductory engineering. - Instruct student athletes on proper time management strategies to help them balance coursework and sport requirements.- Determine beneficial study habits and instructional methods for students with varying needs.

- Work within a five-person instructional team to teach and evaluate first-year engineering students- Tutor and teach first-year engineering students topics including MATLAB, SolidWorks, and technical writing- Collaborate with faculty to develop and improve technical writing curriculum and materials for students- Create and organize training material for other undergraduate teaching assistants and support first-year engineering courses- Help to organize and plan the First-Year Engineering Education Conference held at The Ohio State University in July, 2016
