At Schneider Downs, I am responsible for providing accounting and assurance services to my client base, including planning and managing the execution of the audit, review and compilation engagements, as well as oversight of the preparation and review of the financial statements and audit reports. These responsibilities require the performance of significant planning and administrative tasks in order to maintain an extensive knowledge of financial reporting requirements and operational and organizational concerns of the entities serviced.I serve a variety of clients in the governmental, not-for-profit, and transportation industries.

At the Binkley Kanavy Group, I provided auditing and business advisory services to Local Governments, Human Service Organizations, and Non-Profit Organizations. Specifically related to Local Governments, I assisted in preparation of five Pennsylvania County Comprehensive Annual Financial Reports, which all received the Government Finance Officers Association award for “Excellence in Financial Reporting.” I developed a process for implementing new Government Auditing Standard Board pronouncements, including creating testing methodology for firm staff and training for clients. I conducted compliance audits as part of OMB A-133 Single Audit for a County Government.General job responsibilities included managing the day-to-day functions of engagements, including planning and executing fieldwork, budgeting, staff scheduling and supervision, and workpaper review.
