GM, Child Care is responsible for:- Decision making and planning for the expansion of the Association’s Child Care division, involving the analysis of broad community issues and gaps in service, as well as fiscal planning - Providing strategic leadership to the Child Care division; responsible for guiding, coaching, and ensuring achievement of strategic objectives- Overall contract management with external partners and developing new strategic, community partnerships to extend YMCA Child Care programs and services.- Providing leadership on funding proposals; Writes and submits on behalf of the Association to support and further philanthropy of the YMCA of Okanagan. Responsible for ethically utilizing Strong Kids and donor raised funds.- Ensuring the YMCA of Okanagan achieves the contract service deliverables and community impact benchmarks while supporting the vulnerable children and families who access the YMCA's Beyond the Bell and Young Parent Programs- Ensuring the YMCA of Okanagan achieves Child Care quality and satisfaction benchmarks, as well as curriculum standards.- Coaching, developing, and supporting a team of managers, administrators and facilitators to achieve excellence in service.
