As of January 2024, I am a Practice Manager at Oak Street Health, a network of primary care clinics that serves Medicare-eligible adults. In this role, I oversee the clinic's daily operations, ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards, and coordinate with the clinical and administrative staff to provide high-quality, patient-centered care. I have over nine years of experience in health care administration and management. I am pursuing a Master of Science in Health Care Administration from Purdue Global.My previous roles include working as a Graduate Assistant at Lexington Medical Center, where I supported the Emergency Department Operations Manager with data analysis, reporting, and presentation of relevant statistics for decision-making, and as an Emergency Medical Technician Basic at MedTrust, where I provided emergency medical services to patients in need. I also served as a Healthcare Specialist in the United States Army, providing healthcare services to military personnel and their families. Through these experiences, I have developed and demonstrated my core competencies in medical office management, patient charting, attention to detail, peer mentoring, teamwork, communication, and problem-solving. I am passionate about improving the quality and accessibility of health care for diverse and underserved populations, and I seek to leverage my skills and experiences to contribute to the mission and vision of Oak Street Health and any future organizations I am a part of.
