- Involved in both Aerodynamics and GNC roles- Working with SU2 CFD package to programmatically perform parametric studies of a simple geometry- Using basic control and aerodynamic concepts to size control surfaces in preliminary design phases- Liaising with teams of other engineering disciplines to update requirements based on stability and control- Adding to the flight dynamics model to add fidelity and improve simulation quality- Developing core vehicle functionality within the Guidance framework, and adding models for associated parameters to the simulation capability- Running and analysing Monte Carlo simulations to assess vehicle capability when subject to statistical variation in modelling and performance specs

- Contributed as a Guidance, Navigation and Control (GNC) engineer to develop the vehicle management solution and simulation capability for an autonomous R&D aircraft- Tasking mostly involved updating existing models and code to improve functionality or fix bugs- Was solely responsible for an analysis package that was critical to range safety case for flight trials- Attended flight trials where my responsibilities expanded and I was involved in critical decision making that would determine a go/no-go for flight- Delved into the Navigation side of GNC with an internal R&D project, developing code and models for sensor fusion

- Working primarily within the Systems Engineering domain, responsible for generation and upkeep of test procedures and Validation Cross Reference Matrices (ValCRM)- Gained familiarity and proficiency with the in-house requirements management tool- Also delved into the qualification of flight simulators in accordance with FAR Part 60 standards

- Team comprised of a group of voluntary, enthusiastic students and supervisors who work together to design, construct and fly a fully autonomous plane to undergo the biennial Australian Outback Rescue Challenge - Accomplished first place in the 2018 Australian Outback Rescue Challenge - Aerostructures team is responsible for design, manufacture and maintenance of the Monash UAS airframes- Utilising the latest in composite design and manufacturing in order to produce an aircraft that is lightweight but strong- The two-year project provided me with the opportunity to work with and learn about the latest techniques used in the Aerospace industry

- Summer internship (3 months) position that involved conducting work related to Aircraft Structural Integrity as a member of the Military Helicopters Team- Opportunities included working on a client deliverable for a specific helicopter platform; attending client meetings; liaising with Senior Engineers; and completing training modules designed to enhance knowledge on the corporate business as well as Aircraft Structural Integrity.

- Front desk position that encouraged communication with clients on weekly basis- Responsibilities included preparing, filing and organising paperwork, updating both online and in store advertising and performing various tasks on demand for the sales agents.

- Volunteer position of leadership within the residence of 300 students- Responsibilities included (but were not limited to):-- Ensuring the personal welfare of residents; -- Providing pastoral care; -- Dealing with minor conflicts and breaches; -- Promoting, organising and participating in functions and events within both the hall and the university wide residential community; and-- Working as part of the Residential Support Team with an aim to enhance the community life of the residence.
