Having already completed my MA program in Security, Terrorism, and Insurgency at the University of Leeds, I have delved into the exploration of the origins, dynamics, and ramifications of political violence and instability on a global scale. My educational journey encompassed a comprehensive blend of theoretical and empirical methodologies, coupled with specialised knowledge in various regions and themes, all with the ultimate goal of preparing me to enter the realm of diplomacy and contribute to international peace and security.One of the highlights of my academic journey was my dissertation, which discussed the Obama administration's legitimisation of drone strikes by manipulating international law during the course of the Afghan war.I bring with me a robust foundation in political science, international development, and humanitarian assistance, cultivated during my undergraduate studies at the University of Florida. My commitment to these fields was further bolstered by my experiences as a Model UN Delegate, a summer intern at the Office of US Senator Marco Rubio, and a dedicated campaign volunteer in Palm Beach County. These experiences have not only honed my research, communication, presentation, and leadership skills but have also deepened my passion for global issues, human rights, and social justice.I am now eager to apply these competencies and values to a career in diplomacy and public service.
