I am a student of life, as I hope we all are. My primary career oriented interests revolve around the bridge between nature, culture, and health. I see the health of a people as dependent on the health of the planet, and my passions lie where I can help re-connect people to the earth in practical and therapeutic ways. I have a bachelors degree in Health Arts and Sciences from Goddard College, and in my final year there I culminated my studies in a thesis project entitled "Connecting to Our Native New England: An Exploration of Healing Plants and Nature-Rooted Activities". Things I currently study on my own and would love more academic and professional experience with include healthy affordable cooking, nutrition, indigenous cultures, environmental sustainability, and the outreach, education and communication of these values. I developed a natural health program at a local battered women's shelter, and this now one year old program is a testament to my passions and where I want to grow.
