Danielle “Dani” Oglesby is an innovative, multi-cultural hairstylist, entrepreneur, and freelance columnist. She is an Indianapolis native who holds a cosmetology license in both Indiana and California. Danielle “Dani” Oglesby is an innovative, multi-cultural celebrity hairstylist. Considered to be one of the brightest rising stars in the nation—her work can been seen in a number of magazines and has been featured in projects from Valley Eyewear, Finish line, Remington, JD SPORTS, Puma and Jack Daniels. Dani is also making a name for herself in Hollywood styling luminaries like writer/ actress Natasha Rothwell (Insecure, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Wonder Woman 1984), WNBA 2022 #2 Draft Pick NaLysaa Smith (Puma), tv writer/ producer Lauren Ashley Smith (HBO's A Black Lady Sketch Show). Dani’s pop-up hair salon, The BAE Bar received the 2022 Weddingwire Couple’s Choice Award. The Bae is inspired by a mission to provide accessible beauty services for all women, including women of color. We believe in fostering an innovative and inclusive environment in which you can feel confident that your hair texture will be honored, highlighted, and styled with knowledge and competence to create a beautiful look.The BAE is also a bridal hairstyling and make-up destination where women of all hair textures and skin tones are comfortable and confident having us provide these services on their big days.Dani is very passionate about the under-representation and lack of knowledge in styling and caring for ethnic hair in the production/editorial and salon industries.
