Profile bio

About Danielle Olsen

I lead Wellcome's cultural partnerships, working with others on imaginative, inclusive, and strategic approaches that support science to solve the urgent health challenges facing everyone.I also work independently as a cultural strategist, mentor and international cultural producer, often at the intersection of science, art and society. Storytelling and story listening for public good. With a background in science communication, community engagement, curation, artist residencies and film-making I am deeply interested in what we can do together that we couldn’t do alone; creating spaces and places that support people to play to their strengths as we drive narrative change; nurturing powerful and authentic story-telling and story-listening through meaningful and relevant convenings and experiences; expanding our collective understanding of what counts as knowledge; and supporting more culturally relevant conversations about science.I'm recognised for my ability to forge excellent working relationships and to produce critically acclaimed and purposeful outcomes that align with strategic goals.

Listed skills include Museums, Curating, Research, Cultural Heritage, and 22 others.
