Detection and control methods were analyzed, assigned a severity level, estimated probability of failure, and a criticality matrix was calculated. OPTIMIZE PRODUCTIVITY: Evaluated established methods and procedures based on the FMECA in order to prepare recommendations to ensure the safety of the workplace as well as improving their productivity despite high dust, intermittent water supply, high ambient heat and frequent power outages.SAFETY ANALYSIS: Performed analysis of Safety Related Parts of a Control System (SRP/CS) using safety integration software tool SISTEMA for Spin Test Rigs in China, India and France.PROBLEM SOLVING: Used the IEC 62061 to perform Safety Related Electrical Control Systems (SRECS). Provided recommendations using the severity, frequency and probability methods to determine the SIL level for each hazard. SUPPLY CHAIN OPTIMIZATION: Evaluated each safety function to address each hazard according to the initiating event, reaction and safe state. Broke each safety function into input, processing and output function blocks. Recommended components for each sub-system given the probability of dangerous failure for each component. FAILURE METRICS: Ensured that the Failure Metrics, Mean Time until Dangerous Failure (MTTFd) , probability of dangerous failure per hour (PFHd) and diagnostic coverage ratio (DC avg) fall within the selected architecture of the Markov Model.
