Working at River Island during this time has given me the unique opportunity to work in retail during the pandemic, which has been an extraordinary experience due to the additional training and safeguarding policies that are now in place across the country. This role has been a prominent learning curve for me after finishing sixth form and experiencing lockdown, and I believe it has already made me a more resilient and knowledgeable worker. Show less

During my time at Boots as a Christmas sales assistant, my primary role was customer assistance through locating stock, ordering products for customers and general assistance, such as directing customers to what they were looking for and locating click and collect packages. My work also consisted of helping to put the Saturday morning deliveries out. This pushed me out of my comfort zone and in turn gave me the opportunity to develop my dedication and efficiency.
