Produced the 5 p.m. newscast with a focus on breaking news, education and crime solutions. Organized team coverage of major events including elections, tornado damage and the unique challenges of Mike Tyson’s return to boxing in his “Rumble on the River” fight.

Produced the 10 p.m. newscast while running assignment desk and managing reporters. Pioneered creative new ways to cover news after station was destroyed by fire in December of 1997.
