Formally, I graduated Ithaca College '13 double majoring in Environmental Studies and Anthropology, concentrating my education on the components of healing a community through integrative medicine, sustainable living, and plant studies. During my four years at Ithaca College I have studied abroad in Mumbai, India for 3 weeks studying guru-discipleship relationships, and in Findhorn, Scotland living and studying in a spiritual eco-village for three months. Post-graduation, I have studied herbal medicine with teachers all around the world including, Kris Miller and Tammi Sweet at Heartstone Herbal School, Rocio Alacron, Rosemary Gladstar, Aviva Romn MD, midwife, Sajah Popham, along with attending herbal conferences all over the east coast. I currently work for Primitive Pursuits as the Program Coordinators for the homeschool and teen programs, where I mentoring students in the woods, year-round, in nature connection through teaching ancestral/primitive skills. In 2017, I trained as a birth and postpartum doula, and have become certified through Doula Trainings International, presently working as a birth and postpartum doula. My areas of self study include ancestral/primitive skills, herbal medicine, holistic reproductive and pelvic care, holistic nutrition, permaculture, paganism, shamanic journey work, and plant-spirt medicine under various mentors and healers. I am also a songwriter and musician, performing locally in the Ithaca area. Lastly, I reside and retreat to a forest life, off grid, just outside of Ithaca, where I spent much of my free time wandering in the woods.
