Working knowledge of VACoris, Compas Assessment; identifying offender criminal risks, needs, responsivity and treatment needs; motivating offender change through case plan agreements, incentives and sanctions; and providing programs and services to address criminogenic needs. Provide public safety by supervising offender in the community on a day to day basic, provide interventions, providing intensive case management to a caseload as well as other assign cases by implementing case management skills, and monitoring assigned work assignments, to ensure compliance of court orders and conditions. Interviewing offenders to assess their individual risk/needs assessment and administer assessments. Investigates and conduct home plans during field visits in the community setting. Gathering and evaluating information on social history, background/ record checks and court records. Preparing and maintaining a variety of reports and records. Directly monitoring offender's supervision conditions by developing, writing and reviewing the case plan and needs assessment, to also include composing a variety of correspondence letters and emails. Ensuring compliance of policy and procedure within caseload. +Interview offenders to assisting with developing goals for each offender need, in addition to monitoring their daily life behavior and referring clients to relevant community resources. Maintain and update case files by using Microsoft Office and Outlook, the CAIS/CORIS management system along with documenting case activities, pertaining to alleged offender violations to determine appropriate sanctions. Testify and attends court for civil and general district, prepare pertinent reports and evidence. Working with the Reentry unit, this requires me to provide family reunification to offenders and their families, who are preparing their selves for the transitioning back into the community from the institutions.

To Assists Probation and Parole officers with the supervision, counseling and public safety: as well as the surveillance of adult offenders in the community. Maintain the investigation, verifies and evaluate information of assigned and unassigned offenders on caseloads. Conduct interviews with offenders that are on supervision as well as under investigation to determine the person status level. Gather important and case sensitive information for various reports, such as pre-sentence investigations and sentencing recommendations, which may be required by the Circuit Courts and the Department of Corrections. Implementing and modeling Evidence-Based Practices on my caseload while interacting with the offenders. Conducting drug screenings as well as running background checks on offenders through the VCIN terminal. Imputing case sensitive information into Coris, along with uploading pictures and documents on the Coris system pertaining to the offender.

To provide public safety by supervising adult offenders in a institutional setting. Directly control and monitor the offenders daily behavior and as well as keeping an account of the offenders. This also includes the daily movements and activities of the offenders, as well as ensuring confinement, observing and recording their behavior. Investigate and report any abnormal behavior or activities. As well as being able to interact in a positive and professional manner with staff, offenders, visitors and the public. To ensure that all paper work is accurate, complete and organize at the start of each shift and at the end of the shift. As well as having the ability to work without direct supervision.
