I am a recent graduate nurse from Hunter College Bellevue Nursing School with an interest in oncology, pediatrics, maternity and acute care (NICU, PICU, ICU). I am currently employed as an RN in the ICU at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. In the past I graduated from Queens College with my MA in speech-language pathology and my initial TSSLD certification. I have 12+ years experience with children through babysitting and volunteering. During my graduate career I have gained years of comprehensive experience in the area of speech language pathology, working at the Queens College Speech, Language, and Hearing Center, North Shore University Hospital, and Oceanside Elementary School #8 (grades 1-6). I recently completed working for the Department of Education at a high school in the lower east side. While there I worked with students ages 14-19 with a variety of language disorders. I also have experience working with pre-school, elementary, and middle-school aged children while working with Signature Learning Resources Agency from 2012-2013. After changing careers and before starting my nursing degree I lived abroad in New Zealand for 14 months.
